Bret, I wish I knew - for certain - the answer to your last question.

If I go with the razor … there is no money or power to be had. And this implies a very depraved set of behaviors carried out by many who would be leaders. distressing.

I had been exploring CDC data on this topic as well. We should be able to learn from the fact that some US states are far better than others. But the whole subject is taboo.

This would be the case if the medical establishment knows the cause and has culpability.

Is there a table from the SOA that includes data going back earlier than 2020? Say to 2018?

This particular SOA report includes a few tables going back to 2017. E.g. Figs. 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2.

But it's mostly a "Covid era" report so the presentation focuses on 2020-22. Obviously, the findings are based on pre-2020 data, mostly 2017-2019, which forms the baseline.
