It's almost as if the USA decided to destroy all its competitor economies so it or they or some people would have it all and have it now. (Quite soon anyway). Maybe in my future sci Fi novel the economies you cant con into shutting themselves down you can stage a long drawn out attritional war with. But that's just in a fantasy world of course.
